Project update 3/2023

At the beginning of June, NewSETS was featured at the International Conference on European Energy Markets (EEM / EEM23). At the Lappeenranta conference, Jasmin Jaanto presented the paper “Thermal storage deployment in the framework of current electricity market design”.

In addition, NewSETS will be introduced to students, stakeholders and locals on the Åland Islands in September 2023: Many NewSETS consortium members (Flexens Oy Ab, LUT University, and Polar Night Energy Oy) will present at the Åland Energy Day - a first-time event organised by Flexens and local partners.
